Gurugram is experiencing its worst February air quality in five years, with an average AQI of 255 for the first 26 days, mostly in the 'poor' category. The Municipal Corporation of Gurugram (MCG) has proposed a ₹291 crore pollution action plan targeting a 10% reduction in vehicular emissions and road dust. Measures include road repairs, increased mechanical sweeping, and anti-smog guns, aiming to lower PM2.5 and PM10 levels and improve overall air quality by 2026.
