Bengaluru NGO Replenishes Water Sources to Support Wildlife in Turahalli Forest

The PfA Wildlife Hospital, a Bengaluru-based non-profit, runs Operation Quench Thirst to replenish water sources inside Turahalli forest. This initiative involves daily water tanker deliveries and water trough installations to address drying water sources that force wildlife like spotted deer, peafowl, and jackals to leave the forest, increasing risks such as injuries and conflicts. The NGO highlights that many animals are rescued near forest edges during summer due to these challenges.
