Teachers across Madhya Pradesh protested on March 13 against the Directorate of Public Instruction's order requiring in-service teachers to clear the Teacher Eligibility Test (TET). They submitted a memorandum to the Chief Minister via district collectors, demanding cancellation of the order and a review. The State Government Teachers' Organisation highlighted that many long-serving teachers were recruited without TET. Former BJP MLA Murli Dhar Patidar also opposed the order, warning of intensified protests if demands are unmet. Further collective actions are planned if no response is received.
