Hyderabad Hosts Three-Day Hot Air Balloon Festival Featuring Scenic and Tethered Flights

Hyderabad hosted a three-day Hot Air Balloon Festival from January 16 to 18 near Golconda Fort and at Parade Grounds, Secunderabad, featuring around 18 colorful balloons. Inaugurated by Telangana Tourism Minister Jupally Krishna Rao, who took a 13-kilometre aerial ride, the event combined adventure tourism with cultural celebrations like Sankranti. The festival included extended scenic flights and tethered evening shows, attracting large crowds and selling out tickets quickly. Officials aim to boost Telangana's tourism by blending heritage with innovative experiences.
