
A 30-year-old bank employee, Aish Vishwanath Amin, died by suicide in Kalyan, Maharashtra, after fearing he had contracted rabies from a stray dog bite. He had taken only one anti-rabies injection and exhibited increasing anxiety and symptoms he believed were linked to rabies. A suicide note cited his fear as the reason. Police have registered an accidental death report and are investigating.
