Doctors Strike in Karnal After Alleged Manhandling of Doctor by SHO

Doctors at government hospitals in Karnal district went on an indefinite strike after Dr Parshant Chauhan of Gharaunda CHC was allegedly manhandled and taken to a police station following a heated phone exchange with SHO Deepak. The Haryana Civil Medical Services Association demands the SHO's arrest and FIR registration, while the SHO denies the allegations, stating the doctor misbehaved and was released after an apology. An inquiry has been ordered, and efforts are underway to resume health services.
