Raiders quarterback Geno Smith suffered a leg injury during a game against the Giants. The injury occurred when he was inadvertently hit by a teammate while chasing a defender. Smith was seen in visible pain and left the field with assistance, later heading to the locker room for evaluation. Before his departure, he completed 176 yards with one touchdown but also had two interceptions and was sacked three times. Kenny Pickett replaced him as quarterback.
