He emphasized the continent's potential and called for unity among African nations to reclaim control from former colonial powers. Hamilton has been advocating for an Africa GP for over a decade, suggesting countries like Rwanda and South Africa as hosts, while F1 has considered returning to the continent after its last race there in 1993.
