
The FIFA World Cup 2026 trophy has arrived in India for a three-day tour, marking its first visit in nearly 12 years. Union Sports Minister Mansukh Mandaviya and Brazilian football legend Gilberto D'Silva unveiled the trophy in Delhi. The tour, organized by Coca-Cola, will also include Guwahati, aiming to inspire Indian youth to engage more with football, a sport the minister stated has become a national priority under Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
