Nitish Kumar Reddy Faces Extended Rest, Likely to Miss England ODI Series
Indian all-rounder Nitish Kumar Reddy is unlikely to participate in the upcoming three-match ODI series against England due to a left quadriceps injury requiring extended rest, as advised by the BCCI medical team. Initially thought to be a minor strain, advanced scans revealed a complex muscle tear, delaying his rehabilitation. Reddy remains in recovery at the BCCI Centre of Excellence and is expected to be fit for the T20Is against Zimbabwe and India's Test tour of Sri Lanka. Meanwhile, the Indian team is assembling in phases ahead of the England series starting July 14 in Birmingham.
