Shaheen Shah Afridi Becomes Pakistan's Top T20I Wicket-Taker, Breaks Powerplay Record

In the ICC Men's T20 World Cup 2026 Super 8s match against England at Pallekele, Pakistan's Shaheen Shah Afridi became the country's highest wicket-taker in T20Is by surpassing Haris Rauf with 134 wickets in 102 matches. Afridi also broke Tim Southee's record for most wickets in the T20I powerplay with 59 dismissals. Afghanistan's Rashid Khan holds the overall T20I wickets record with 193 wickets in 115 matches.
