Uttar Pradesh Partners with AVW Global to Develop Motorcycle Racing Ecosystem

The Uttar Pradesh State Transformation Commission has signed a memorandum of understanding with AVW Global, led by former MotoGP rider Karel Abraham, to develop a world-class motorcycle racing ecosystem. The partnership aims to host international events like MotoGP and the Asia Road Racing Championship at the Buddh International Circuit in Gautam Buddh Nagar, potentially starting in July-August 2026. Officials highlight the initiative's potential to revive motorcycle racing in India, promote youth development, and boost local tourism and employment.
