Wahab Riaz has been appointed mentor of the Pakistan women's cricket team for their upcoming white-ball series in South Africa starting February 10. This marks the team's first international assignment since finishing last at the ICC Women's World Cup in November, which led to the dismissal of former coach Mohammad Wasim. Riaz, supported by former players Imran Farhat and Abdul Rehman, will oversee preparations including a training camp in Karachi. The squad includes new players Saira Jabeen and Humna Bilal in T20Is, with Fatima Sana as captain.
