The New York Mets have agreed to a three-year, $126 million contract with two-time All-Star infielder Bo Bichette, pending a physical. Bichette, who batted .311 with 18 home runs last season for the Toronto Blue Jays, is expected to move to third base, joining Francisco Lindor at shortstop and Marcus Semien at second base. The deal includes opt-outs after the first and second seasons and follows the Mets missing out on outfielder Kyle Tucker. Bichette's signing involves draft pick compensation to Toronto.
