Florida Panthers forward Brad Marchand will not face further discipline from the NHL for an elbow to the head of Montreal Canadiens defenseman Mike Matheson. Marchand received a roughing minor during the game, and a league source indicated the hit was not egregiously forceful. This decision allows Marchand to play in the upcoming Winter Classic. He was also recently named to Canada's Olympic roster.
