The Charlotte Hornets announced they will retire Dell Curry's No. 30 jersey on March 19 during a game against the Orlando Magic, making him the second player in franchise history to receive this honor. Curry, who played 10 of his 16 NBA seasons in Charlotte and won the Sixth Man of the Year award in 1993-94, expressed surprise and gratitude. He remains involved with the team as a TV analyst and ambassador. Steph Curry also paid tribute to his father’s lasting legacy with the Hornets.
