The ban, imposed before the previous Kerala Cricket League season, had been challenged in court but upheld. With the suspension lifted, Sreesanth can resume his role as co-owner of the Aries Kollam Sailors franchise. The KCA warned that any future misconduct would result in strict disciplinary action.
