
Former England cricketer and ECB chief executive Hugh Morris has died at the age of 62 after a battle with bowel cancer. Morris, who played three Test matches for England and captained Glamorgan, also had a significant administrative career. He served the England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) for 16 years, including as CEO during a successful period for the men's national team, and later returned to Glamorgan as CEO. He is remembered for his integrity, dignity, and contributions to cricket both on and off the field.
