WPL 2026 Matches on January 14-15 Held Without Spectators Due to Navi Mumbai Elections

The Women's Premier League (WPL) 2026 matches scheduled for January 14 and 15 at the DY Patil Stadium in Navi Mumbai will be played behind closed doors due to municipal corporation elections on January 15. This decision, attributed to the deployment of security personnel for election duties, restricts spectator entry for these two matches. Spectators will be allowed again from January 16, starting with the Gujarat Giants vs Royal Challengers Bengaluru match. Media access will be permitted during the closed-door games.
