Ferrari has ended its relationship with Chinese driver Zhou Guanyu, who served as a reserve driver for the 2025 Formula 1 season. Zhou's departure from Ferrari, where he previously was part of the Ferrari Driver Academy, effectively closes his immediate path back to an F1 race seat, particularly with the new Cadillac F1 team opting for other drivers. Despite scoring points in each of his three F1 seasons, opportunities for a full-time return did not materialize. Ferrari reportedly benefited from his sponsorship and commercial backing.
