Yash Dayal Cleared to Play in Uttar Pradesh T20 League Amid Legal Proceedings
Fast bowler Yash Dayal is set to return to competitive cricket with the Uttar Pradesh T20 League after receiving a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from the Uttar Pradesh Cricket Association (UPCA). Despite facing serious legal cases, including allegations of sexual exploitation and rape, Dayal has been retained by the Gorakhpur Lions franchise. UPCA officials state that all legal formalities have been completed, allowing his participation. Dayal was previously retained by Royal Challengers Bengaluru but did not play in the 2026 IPL season due to ongoing legal proceedings.
