Kohli achieved this milestone early in his innings but was dismissed for 23 runs. Having scored 1,773 runs in 35 matches against New Zealand, Kohli now ranks second overall behind Australia's Ricky Ponting, who has 1,971 runs against the Kiwis. Kohli also holds several other international batting records.
