The All India Football Federation (AIFF) has presented a 20-year plan to Indian Super League (ISL) clubs, proposing a June-to-May season cycle with promotion and relegation. The plan includes a Rs 70 crore annual budget for the first season, with a central revenue pool to be shared among participating clubs. While clubs have reacted positively to the proposal, discussions are ongoing regarding funding and participation fees, especially following recent setbacks like City Football Group's divestment from Mumbai FC.
