Other Indian contenders, including Kidambi Srikanth, HS Prannoy, and the top men's doubles pair Satwiksairaj Rankireddy and Chirag Shetty, were eliminated in closely contested matches. India's women's singles and doubles campaigns also ended, with Malvika Bansod and the pair Treesa Jolly-Gayatri Gopichand losing in the second round. Sen will next face Lin Chun-Yi in the quarterfinals.
