Adithya Ashok, a New Zealand leg-spinner of Indian origin, is set to play against India in the first ODI in Vadodara. Born in Vellore, Tamil Nadu, Ashok moved to New Zealand at age four. The 23-year-old has played two ODIs and one T20I for New Zealand, taking two wickets. He previously trained at the Chennai Super Kings academy and has been identified as a potential successor to Ish Sodhi.
