
Former Brazil and Real Madrid footballer Roberto Carlos has been discharged from Hospital Vila Nova Star following a heart procedure. The 52-year-old underwent a coronary angioplasty on Monday after a heart obstruction was detected. He was initially placed in intensive care as per protocol. Roberto Carlos, known for his attacking left-back play, earned 125 caps for Brazil and had a distinguished career with Real Madrid, including winning the 2002 World Cup.
