The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has denied reports suggesting Gautam Gambhir's position as Test head coach is under threat. BCCI vice-president Rajeev Shukla and secretary Devajit Saikia stated that there are no plans to remove Gambhir, calling speculation about VVS Laxman being approached as a replacement "factually incorrect and baseless." These denials come after media reports surfaced following India's recent Test series losses, including a 0-2 whitewash against South Africa.
