Eighteen-year-old Kaamya Karthikeyan has become the youngest Indian and second-youngest woman globally to ski to the South Pole, completing a 115 km trek on December 27. Battling -30 C temperatures and gale-force winds, she pulled a sled with her expedition gear. The Indian Navy congratulated her, highlighting her achievement as a source of inspiration. Karthikeyan is pursuing the Explorers Grand Slam, having already completed the Seven Summits Challenge, including scaling Mount Everest.
