Former International Umpire Vikram Raju Dies at 92, Remembered for 1986 Tied Test
Former international umpire V Vikram Raju, known for officiating the historic 1986 tied Test between India and Australia in Chennai, died at 92. He umpired two Tests, five ODIs, and 42 first-class matches. The Karnataka State Cricket Association mourned his passing, highlighting his distinguished service and integrity. After umpiring, Raju served as a Match Referee in first-class matches and the Karnataka Premier League, now the KSCA Maharaja T20 Trophy.
