The Jharkhand State Housing Board has issued a notice to former Indian cricket captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni over alleged commercial use of a residential plot allotted to him in Ranchi in 2006. The board's inquiry found a pathology lab operating from the property, violating allotment rules. Dhoni, who now lives at a different residence, has been asked to respond within 15 days, with potential cancellation of the allotment if he fails to comply. Similar investigations are ongoing for other properties in the area.
