Work on an international cricket stadium in Ghaziabad is set to expedite, with officials resolving land and building bylaw issues. The proposed stadium near Raj Nagar Extension will have a 55,000 seating capacity and is planned to international standards. The Uttar Pradesh Cricket Association has secured most of the land, with remaining hurdles involving Gram Samaj and private land being addressed. Previously, FAR (Floor Area Ratio) requirements had delayed the project, but amended bylaws now permit sufficient FAR for construction.
