The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) will operate the Multan Sultans franchise for the upcoming PSL season after owner Ali Tareen exited due to disputes with the board. PCB chief Mohsin Naqvi stated the team will be run by former cricketers and experts, with an acting head appointed soon. Tareen accused the PCB of withholding renewal documents and valuation, leading to his withdrawal. Naqvi expressed openness to Tareen bidding for new franchises.
