A one-year-old Belgian Malinois puppy named Rudra has been inducted into the Detective Dog Squad. Rudra, trained to detect drugs and narcotics, joins other dogs specializing in explosives and crime scene investigation. The squad's kennel houses dogs like Agni, a Labrador, and Rita, a Belgian Malinois, who are trained in explosives detection, and Sara, a German Shepherd, skilled in crime scene clues. Dora, another Labrador, also received training from the Madras City Police Dog Squad. The dogs receive daily training and a balanced diet.
