Pakistan Television (PTV) achieved a historic victory in the 2025-26 President's Trophy by defending the lowest target ever in first-class cricket, winning by two runs against Sui Northern Gas Pipeline Limited (SNGPL) at Karachi. Chasing 40 runs, SNGPL was bowled out for 37, breaking a 232-year-old record previously set in 1794. Key performances included Ali Usman's six wickets for nine runs and Amad Butt's four wickets in the final innings. SNGPL's top order struggled, with captain Shan Masood dismissed for a duck.
