The State government has granted administrative approval for a ₹3 crore hi-tech sports complex in Perumanna, Kozhikode district. The facility, named the Mangathaya Kesavan Namboothiri memorial complex, will be built on 15 cents of land, partly donated. It will include an indoor stadium, swimming pool, and convention centre, aiming to enhance sports infrastructure and provide training and community event opportunities.
