Eighteen-year-old Kaamya Karthikeyan, daughter of a naval officer, has become the youngest Indian to ski to the South Pole. Battling temperatures of -30 degrees Celsius and gale-force winds, she trekked approximately 115 km from 89 degrees South, pulling a sled. This achievement marks a significant milestone in her quest to complete the Explorers Grand Slam, having previously conquered the Seven Summits Challenge, including Mount Everest. The Indian Navy congratulated her, highlighting her accomplishment as an inspiration.
