
The Pro Wrestling League (PWL) is set to return in 2026 after a six-year hiatus, with its player auction commencing today in New Delhi. Approximately 300 wrestlers will be available for bidding across six franchises, vying for 72 open spots. Prominent athletes like Paris Olympics bronze medallist Aman Sehrawat and world champion Antim Panghal are among those expected to draw significant interest. Each of the six new teams will have a purse of Rs 2 crore to build squads of 9-12 players, including a minimum of five men and four women.
