Former Pakistan fast bowler Wahab Riaz has been appointed to supervise the national women's cricket squad for an upcoming white-ball series in South Africa. The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) announced Riaz will mentor the team, assisted by former players Imran Farhat and Abdul Rehman. Fatima Sana will captain the squad in both ODI and T20I formats. This series is the team's first since their last-place finish in the ICC World Cup last November, which led to coaching staff changes. The squad includes uncapped players Saira Jabeen and Humna Bilal for the T20Is.
