Rinku Singh's Father Passes Away After Battle with Stage-4 Liver Cancer

Indian cricketer Rinku Singh's father, Khanchand Singh, passed away on February 27 at Yatharth Hospital in Greater Noida after a prolonged battle with stage-4 liver cancer. His condition had deteriorated significantly, leading to ventilator support before his death. Rinku left the T20 World Cup squad to be with his family but rejoined ahead of the match against Zimbabwe, though he did not play. Khanchand Singh, who worked delivering LPG cylinders in Aligarh, was credited by Rinku for supporting his cricketing career despite financial hardships. The family plans to perform the last rites in Aligarh, with Rinku expected to attend. Former cricketer Harbhajan Singh extended condolences to the family.
