
Ahead of the India-New Zealand T20 World Cup final at Ahmedabad's Narendra Modi Stadium, over 3,000 police personnel, around 1,000 home guards, and three anti-drone systems have been deployed for security. Ahmedabad Police Commissioner GS Malik highlighted new safety measures, including holding areas near stadium gates to prevent overcrowding and stampedes, implemented for the first time. Senior officers, including a joint commissioner and multiple deputy commissioners, will oversee the arrangements alongside advanced surveillance systems.
