
Indian long jumper Lokesh Sathyanathan won the men's long jump gold at the NCAA Indoor Championships in Fayetteville, Arkansas, with a record-breaking leap of 8.21m. This jump set a new indoor national record and placed him third on India's all-time list. Lokesh outperformed competitors De'Aundre Ward (8.20m) and Tafadzwa Chikomba (8.15m). He is the fourth Indian to win the NCAA Division I Indoor title, joining Mohinder Singh Gill, Vikas Gowda, and Tejaswin Shankar. Lokesh credited his family and coach for their support.
