
Pakistan Television (PTV) broke a 232-year-old first-class cricket record by successfully defending the lowest target of 40 runs against Sui Northern Gas in the Presidents Trophy. PTV won by two runs after bowling out Sui Northern for 37 runs, led by left-arm spinner Ali Usman’s six wickets for nine runs. The four-day match saw PTV score 166 and 111 in their innings, while Sui Northern had a 72-run lead before the final innings.
