Australian cricket captain Alyssa Healy has announced her retirement from all formats of the game, with the upcoming home series against India marking her final international assignment. The 35-year-old wicketkeeper-batter cited a loss of competitive edge and mental drain as reasons for her decision. Healy will play in the ODIs and the one-off Test against India but will not participate in the T20Is, allowing the team to prepare for the T20 World Cup. She retires after a distinguished 16-year career, having won eight World Cup titles and holding numerous records.
