MS Dhoni Named Goodwill Ambassador for Pune Grand Tour 2026 Cycling Race

Former Indian cricket captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni has been named goodwill ambassador for the Bajaj Pune Grand Tour 2026, India's first international multi-stage professional road cycling race. Scheduled from January 19 to 23, the five-day event covers a 437-km route across the Deccan Plateau and Sahyadri Range, featuring 171 riders from 29 teams across 35 countries. Dhoni highlighted the race as a new chapter for professional cycling in India and encouraged the Indian teams, led by Naveen John, to perform well on home ground.
