The All India Football Federation (AIFF) awaits a response from the Asian Football Confederation (AFC) regarding continental slots for Indian Super League (ISL) clubs. Eligibility for the AFC Champions League Two requires a minimum of 24 matches, a number ISL clubs may not meet this season due to potential postponements. FC Goa, Super Cup winners, could be disqualified if the mandatory game count isn't fulfilled. Despite this, the ISL is expected to proceed, potentially without AFC qualification if the AFC does not grant an exception.
