Tamil Nadu Deputy Chief Minister Udhayanidhi Stalin initiated the development of sports infrastructure via video conference. Projects include renovating Chennai's Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium synthetic track for 8 crore, constructing a 17.01 crore shooting academy at Keerapakkam, and building new synthetic tracks in Salem and Ramanathapuram. He also presented awards to medal-winning sportspersons.
