The 11th India International Youth Sailing Championship (IIR) 2026 is set to take place in Chennai from January 4-10, featuring 117 sailors from 13 nations competing in five classes. The event, organized by the Tamil Nadu Sailing Association (TNSA), was launched with support from the Tamil Nadu government, which announced plans for two new sailing Centers of Excellence. The championship is recognized as a significant platform for young sailors.
