Mumbai Cricket Association Names Stand and Gates at Wankhede Stadium After Cricket Legends

The Mumbai Cricket Association (MCA) has decided to honour cricket legends by naming the Level 1 Stand below the Press Box at Wankhede Stadium after former India all-rounder and coach Ravi Shastri. Additionally, three gates will be dedicated to notable Mumbai cricketers: Gate No. 3 to Dilip Sardesai, Gate No. 5 to Diana Edulji, and Gate No. 6 to Eknath Solkar. These decisions, approved by the MCA Apex Council, recognize their significant contributions to Mumbai and Indian cricket.
