Wankhede Stadium to Name Stand After Ravi Shastri and Gates After Mumbai Cricket Legends

The Mumbai Cricket Association (MCA) has announced that the Level 1 Stand below the Press Box at Wankhede Stadium will be named after former India all-rounder and coach Ravi Shastri, recognizing his contributions as a player, captain, commentator, and coach. Additionally, three gates will be dedicated to Mumbai cricket legends: Gate No. 3 to Dilip Sardesai, Gate No. 5 to Diana Edulji, and Gate No. 6 to Eknath Solkar. These honours reflect MCA's commitment to celebrating the city's cricketing heritage.
