Kramnik claims he was forced to sue due to relentless attacks from players and FIDE, whose CEO called his allegations "appalling." Naroditsky's final livestream indicated severe mental stress from these claims, and another player reported suicidal thoughts. Kramnik maintains his accusations are substantiated.
